ServiceNow Developer

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Service Now Developer to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. The Service Now developer will be responsible for configuring Service Now components and developing customized solutions within the Service Now platform.

• Design, develop, and deploy Service Now solutions across SPM, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and various scoped application integrations utilizing best-practice coding standards.
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and wireframes to deliver performant technical solutions.
• Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, and sophisticated automation utilizing Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
• Perform code reviews, define enterprise development standards, and enforce security best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues while maintaining system reliability and performance, and execute Service Now platform upgrades, patching, and the deployment of new modules.
• Create technical documentation and provide training and guidance to organizational stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with RMF, FedRAMP, and other mandatory federal security frameworks and support the software accreditation process.

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience specializing in Service Now development.
• Active Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) and/or Certified System Administrator (CSA) certifications.
• Experience in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and Service Now Studio, with significant experience across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
• Established track record navigating Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability supporting the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and federal software accreditation processes.

• Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
• Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist in IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM).
• Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist in Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM).
• Motivated self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to lead remote teams.
• Prior experience supporting federal agencies or defense programs.

• US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
