Job Description:

The Logistician performs all aspects of technical supply management work, to include tracking, receipt, inventory, storage, cataloging, and transportation related to government furnished and contractor acquired materials. Ensures corporate and contractual supply management operations are followed. Resolves logistics and material management problems and supply actions. Supports contract and program requirements to ensure compliance. Supports all material control and logistics functions at integration facility related to material management and operations of DoD projects.

Primary

Duties and Responsibilities Incoming Material / Receiving
  • Physical verification of all equipment and materials received at integration facility.
  • Identification and resolution of discrepancies such as shortages, overages, incorrect equipment, damaged materials, or missing documentation.
  • Relabeling equipment as required and ensuring A2B is updated accurately and timely.
  • Receiving, documenting, and routing material to the appropriate integration area or responsible team.
  • Unloading trucks and coordinating the movement of incoming equipment/material into the integration facility.
  • Maintaining visibility of material from receipt through integration and final disposition.
  • Coordination with warehouse personnel, integration team, and project teams regarding incoming deliveries.
Material Control
  • Perform routine physical inventory and spot checks of equipment and materials throughout the integration facility.
  • Maintain accurate accountability and location information for equipment while it is within the integration facility.
  • Identify and reconcile residual equipment/material remaining in integration areas following completion of installs.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure residual material is properly identified, recorded, or otherwise dispositioned.
  • Complete all integration facility annual inventory requirements and assist with periodic inventory audits.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, installation equipment, consumables, and other integration facility stock.
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with the appropriate teams.
Outbound Shipping Support
  • Coordinate and facilitate outbound shipments and deliveries from the integration facility in support of installation schedules.
  • Verify equipment and materials prior to shipment against shipping documentation.
  • Stage equipment and material for outbound shipments based on installation/site requirements.
  • Coordinate with transportation providers, warehouse personnel, installers, and project teams to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
  • Prepare and/or verify shipping documentation, labels, pallet information, and other required shipment records.
  • Complete shipments of tools and installation support equipment.
  • Track outbound material through shipment and provide status updates as needed.
  • Assist with resolving shipment discrepancies, including missing, damaged, or incorrectly staged material.
Stage II
  • Assist with development, review, and validation of the material portions of Stage II paperwork.
  • Verify equipment quantities, descriptions, part numbers, serial numbers, costs, and other required material information.
  • Ensure physical equipment received at the integration facility aligns with Stage II documentation.
