Software Engineer – Junior

BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a Modern Mission Software Engineer – Junior with an active TS Clearance with Full Scope Poly for our expanding workforce supporting current and evolving TEALMISSILE projects. Salary: The typical annual salary range for this position is $ USD to $ USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.

• Shall have familiarity with software development/engineering such as requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution.
• Shall have familiarity with developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++, JavaScript.
• Shall have familiarity with developing software for Microsoft Windows or UNIX/Linux/Centos family of operating systems.
• Shall have familiarity with software integration and software testing.
• Shall understand technical writing and have familiarity with technical documents in support of a software development project.

Degree: Bachelor's degree, preferably in a computer engineering discipline, from an accredited college or university.

Allowable Substitution: Four (4) years of Software Engineering or related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active TS Clearance with Full Scope Poly. CCA candidates are not accepted, and polygraphs must have been completed within the last seven years. The selected applicant will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
