The Role

As the Second‑in‑Command Pilot, you will operate B300/350 aircraft on ISR missions across the Pacific Area of Responsibility, flying day and night, all‑weather operations. You’ll execute under GFR-approved procedures, applicable host‑nation rules, and FARs, ensuring every sortie is safe, professional, and precise.

What You’ll Do
  • Plan and execute missions: flight planning, performance, weight & balance, fuel planning, and thorough pre/post‑flight activities.
  • Conduct flight operations as Second‑in‑Command in compliance with regulations, service guidance, company policies, and FOPs/GOPs.
  • Coordinate with the Chief Pilot on crew staffing, scheduling, training adequacy, operational tempo, and mission support.
  • Provide OCONUS site oversight for mission briefings, mission management, crew equipment, safety‑program implementation, flight‑department data tracking, and operations‑specification management.
  • Uphold the highest safety standards; support Safety Management activities and disciplined checklist usage.
  • Communicate respectfully with teammates and customers; prepare required reports, briefs, and timely documentation.
  • Coordinate fueling and document aircraft discrepancies for maintenance review and correction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to meet company and customer objectives.
What You Bring
  • Citizenship: U.S. citizen with a current U.S. passport.
  • Medical: Current FAA Class II Medical.
  • Certificates: Commercial Multi‑Engine Land (CPL) required; ATP preferred (unrestricted or restricted accepted).
  • Type Rating: In the operational aircraft (B300/350) or a similar type.
  • Compliance: Able to pass a drug test; strong working knowledge of FAA rules, regulations, standards, and FOPs/GOPs.
  • Experience: Prior OCONUS rotational experience required or expected; proven ability to operate in austere or hazardous environments.
  • Professional skills: Attention to detail, on‑time reporting, teamwork with employees/vendors/customers, strong communication and customer‑service skills.
  • Tech fluency: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Physical readiness: Able to work in varied conditions, wear a respirator or other required safety equipment, work in confined spaces, and lift 50 lbs.

Note on flight time:
The source listing includes two conflicting minimums. Candidates meeting either threshold are encouraged to apply: (1) at least 4,000 hours total time with 500 hours in the required or similar type; or (2) 2,000 hours multi‑engine fixed‑wing PIC and 3,000 hours total time.

Preferred Background
  • Former active DoD or U.S. Government contractor ISR experience.
  • Instructor Pilot (IP) or Standardization Pilot (SP) experience.
Roster & Operating Environment
  • Rotation: 90/90 schedule (90 days deployed OCONUS, 90 days off).
  • Deployment:
    Travel and rotational deployment across the United States and internationally within the Pacific AOR, including austere locations.

    Operate under GFR-approved procedures, host‑nation rules, and FARs.
