In harmony with the mission and vision of Rancho Murieta Community Church, the Youth Pastor will provide oversight and direction to all ministries to junior high (grades 7-8) and high school (grades 9-12) students and families building a dynamic relevant ministry that guides students to connect, grow, serve, reach and worship.
Responsibilities- Enlist and equip volunteer staff for key ministry roles
- Personally (and through volunteers) build relationships and disciple students and families
- Lead preparation and execution of weekly programming and special events
- Oversee the administration of youth ministry (i.e.: budgeting, policies, environments, calendar & training etc.)
- Occasionally preach or fulfill other churchwide pastoral duties
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks as requested
- Meet the biblical standards set forth in 1 Timothy 3:2-7;
Titus 1:6-9; 1 Peter 5:2-3. - Bachelor’s Degree required, some Seminary preferred
- Vision, Value and Doctrinal alignment with RMCC and Christian & Missionary Alliance
- 2 years vocational youth ministry leadership
- Teaching, leading (volunteers and students) and discipleship
- Ability to relationally connect with people of all ages
- A high capacity in teaching and interpersonal communication
- Strong team building and administrative abilities
- Ability to plan, manage and execute an event while equipping and delegating tasks
- A passion to bring the Gospel to into broken lives and disciple those who respond into a maturing relationship with Jesus
