Volunteer Position at ECLA
ECLA – Espace Clodoaldien de Loisirs et d'Animation – is a non-profit association based on the principles of popular education. It aims to foster encounters and personal growth by developing a cultural, artistic, and leisure project for all. ECLA welcomes around 1600 members each season who participate in about a hundred workshops in the fields of performing arts, visual arts, scientific activities, and health/wellness sports.
It also organizes around twenty events per year (concerts, shows, exhibitions).
ECLA promotes exchanges and discoveries through its activities, event programming, and its cultural association café, the So Art Café. This café is a meeting point for employees, members, administrators, and partners. The So Art Café team, composed of a civic service volunteer and volunteers, offers occasional animations linked to the programming. With this association café, ECLA aims to develop the participation of its members and more broadly, volunteering.
This mission aims to:
• Foster social links
• Promote the emergence of participatory projects and citizen initiatives
• Energize and animate the association café
• Develop the association's cultural projects and events in collaboration with the team
• Rethink the modes of participation and engagement of the association's members Actions Within the permanent team, in relation with the manager of associative life and in collaboration with the life associative commission, the missions of the volunteer will be to:
• Develop the association café in collaboration with the team and volunteers, raise awareness among members about the project, collect their remarks and ideas
• Participate in the daily operation and organization of the café
• Imagine and implement animations for various audiences, especially children
• Participate with the team in organizing the association's events (concerts, dances, shows, exhibitions…): help with setting up spaces and cleaning up, welcome the public, run the bar in collaboration with volunteers…
• Promote the mobilization of volunteers and value their commitment
• Participate in associative life: work meetings with volunteers, partners…
• Contribute to the dissemination of the association's information
This mission is aimed at young people aged 18 to 26 who are dynamic, curious, and interested in the cultural and associative sector. The volunteer's motivation and commitment will be determining factors.
No specific degree or training is required.

Engagement duration: 10 months Weekly schedule: 28 hours/week, from Tuesday to Friday, and availability on certain evenings and weekends for occasional events In the context of civic service, the volunteer will attend two trainings: PSC1 and civic and citizen training.
