Job Description:

WWF-India is one of the largest organisations, engaged in wildlife and nature conservation for over 50 years. We invite applications from candidates for the position of Assistant Manager - Corporate Outreach & Engagement and to be based out of our Bangalore office.

As an Assistant Manager – Corporate Outreach and Engagement in the conservation sector, your broad responsibilities would be to work incorporate fundraising/business development, corporate employee engagement, workplace giving program, citizen outreach and supporting the State office in other areas of work in environment education, projects etc.

This is a cross functional role and you would be responsible for building relationships and partnerships with corporates for CSR/Grants funding, employee engagement programs, workplace giving, driving conservation product sales in the State and engaging with citizens and youth across the State to increase public awareness and citizen connect. You would also be expected to support ongoing work/ projects in your State, as assigned by your manager.

Job Profile:

Initiate, establish and develop leads for CSR partnerships with corporates in consultation with the Conservation Alliances (CA) team in Delhi, and your Manager. Progress the discussions with the company and acquire the partnerships.

Work closely with the Conservation Alliances team and Program teams in Delhi, in setting up meetings, preparing presentations, proposals and documentation to acquire partners.

Achieve CSR fundraising targets set for the financial year in consultation with your Manager(s).

Initiate, establish and drive sales of conservation products and achieve targets set for the financial year, in consultation with your Manager(s).

Initiate, establish and develop leads for employee engagement activities with corporates in consultation with Conservation Alliance team. Plan and execute activities for corporates in consultation with your Manager(s).

Initiate and develop leads for Work Place Giving (WPG) program in coordination Conservation Alliances team in Delhi.

Establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential CSR partners, buyers of conservation products, corporate employee engagement and Work Place Giving partners

Create and maintain a comprehensive database of corporates for CSR, Conservation Product sales, Corporate Employee Engagement and Work Place Giving.

Support State Office and other program teams, where required.

You may also be required to perform other duties as assigned by your manager from time to time.

Requirements

Desired Qualifications, Experience & Abilities:

Bachelors or Master Degree Graduate

Minimum of 2 years of experience. Experience in business development, fundraising, sales, client facing roles will be required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Ability to multi-task and work in a team, as well as, lead a team

Passion for conservation
