Wellspring Church Kids Midweek Director
The Kids Midweek Director exists to create a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered environment for children during our midweek services and events. This role supports volunteers, service flow, and ensures excellence in care so that families feel welcomed and cared for every time they walk through the doors. As a vital member of the Kids Ministry Team, the Kids Midweek Lead will work closely with the Early Childhood Director, Elementary Director, and Kids Pastor to support the Wellspring Kids Ministry Team.
The Kids Midweek Director will work as part of the Kids Ministry Staff to include the following responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Volunteer Recruitment
- Service Leadership & Environment
- Volunteer Support
- Child & Family Care
- Curriculum & Classroom Execution
- Communication & Reporting
A growing relationship with Jesus and commitment to the mission and vision of Wellspring Church.
Love God and love kids.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to remain calm under pressure.
Experience working or serving in children's ministry strongly preferred.
Exemplify a friendly, professional and positive demeanor
Be flexible with change and excel in a fast-paced work environment
Able to work collaboratively with other department teams to support the ministry of Wellspring church.
Understanding of confidentiality and proper care of personal information.
Physical requirements:
Constant periods of sitting and repetitive motions. Occasionally able to lift or move up to 30 lbs standing or walking.
