Roles & Responsibilities   Assess patients thoroughly to inform individualized psychiatric care plans
Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies to ensure patient and team safety
Deliver compassionate geriatric care for patients aged 60 and older
Provide short-term acute psychiatric interventions and document care clearly
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes
Qualifications   Active Registered Nurse license with psychiatric experience (license verification required)
Minimum 2 years acute RN experience
Psychiatric background or prior psych unit experience
BLS certification
CPI certification
Strong and competent clinical nursing skills
Knowledge & Skills   Clinical psychiatric nursing and acute psychiatric care
Geriatric psychiatric care for older adults
Patient assessment and emergency response protocols
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
Clear documentation and collaborative team communication
