About the job RN Nurse Manager Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology
Position Summary
The RN Nurse Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology departments. This position oversees the delivery of high-quality nursing care, administrative operations, and staffing for multiple nursing units and/or teams exceeding 80 full-time equivalents (FTEs) on a 24-hour basis. The role requires collaboration with physicians, clinical specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes in advanced stroke and cardiac care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology services.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with evidence-based standards.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Promote a patient-focused and team-oriented culture.
- Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- $20,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates who meet required qualifications.

- Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
- Active California Registered Nurse License (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
- Current National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- California Fire and Life Safety Card (within 30 days of hire).
- Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Minimum of 1 year nursing leadership experience (examples: RN Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager).
- Experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology strongly preferred.
- Additional certifications as required by specialty area (e.g., NRP for specific units within specified time frames).
