Position: School Registered Nurse (RN) in Pacoima, CA
Location: Pacoima

Deliver compassionate and expert health services in a school setting by providing care to students during Extended School Year and general education programs. As an RN with a Credentialed School Nurse certification, your skills will support both medically complex and general education students on specified dates throughout June and July.

Key

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and Credentialed School Nurse certification (required)
• Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric care strongly preferred
• Expertise in caring for medically complex students
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a diverse school environment
• Skilled in emergency response, care planning, and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily nursing care and health assessments to students in ESY and general education programs
• Manage and implement individualized care plans for medically complex students
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor health status according to established protocols
• Serve as a resource and advocate for student health and wellness during school hours
• Respond promptly and efficiently to health emergencies or incidents
• Maintain meticulous health records and comply with school policies

Assignment Details:

• Contract position covering select dates by program
• ESY Dates:
  June 11, June 26, June 29, July 6, July 7, July 13, July 14 (7am-2pm)
• General Education Dates:
  July 20, July 24, July 27, July 29 (7am-2pm)
• Support provided at multiple sites as assigned, including work with medically complex students attending ESY.
