  • Deliver resident-centered nursing care using the full nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders
  • Document resident status, care provided, and outcomes clearly and timely
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive resident care
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families to promote positive outcomes
  • Participate in performance improvement efforts to enhance quality of care
  • Support the facility vision and mission through professional, compassionate practice

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Current California RN license (required)
  • Current CPR certification (required)
  • At least 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred
  • Proven skills in medication administration, patient assessment, and care planning
  • Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and implement physician plans of care
  • Strong documentation skills and effective interdisciplinary communication
Education
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Knowledge & Skills
  • Nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation
  • Medication administration and safe dosing practices
  • Thorough patient assessment and care planning
  • Accurate and timely documentation
