Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery assignment in Templeton, California. This 13‑week travel position is 36 hours per week with 12‑hour night shifts.

• One year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• STABLE and ACLS certifications (AHA / ARC)
• Other certifications and licenses may be required

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination
• Provide immediate postpartum care
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other team members
• Respond to obstetric emergencies, including preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
• Comply with all regulatory standards, policies, and guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of labor and delivery nursing

• Physical ability to remain stationary, move around, and move equipment (50‑100 lbs)
