Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) delivers technical nursing care to residents using the nursing process. The LVN functions as a member of the nursing team under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LVN may assume charge nurse role in the Skilled Nursing Facility. Candidates must have the ability to apply good clinical judgment. Candidates should be able to plan work, establish priorities, and maintain flexibility.
Proficient written and verbal skills are required. Candidates must be able to use a computer proficiently.
