Description

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

• Day Shift, 36 or 48 hours/week 630 to 1900, rotating days, weekend rotation too.
• BLS, PALS, ACLS and NIH Stroke cert required.
• NRP preferred.
• Prefer 5 years experience; will consider less based on volume of patient experience.
• No Call.
• Education and
  
  Work Experience:
  
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred.
• Acute care facility experience:
  Preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications
  
  Required:
  
  Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice.
• CPR certification or BLS or HS-BLS or RQIBLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy.
• Facility Specific
  
  Certifications:
  
  AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS.
• Department Specific
  
  Certifications:
  
  AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS.
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A.
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS.
