Overview

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Fall River Mills, California.

Start date:

06/15/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,226 per week – $2,339 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.

Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (4:00 pm–4:30 am). Setting:
Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Report to the on‑duty Nursing Supervisor; collaborate with the ER team to deliver high‑quality patient care
  • Conduct individualized patient assessments and prioritize data collection; promptly notify the on‑call physician and charge nurse of abnormal findings
  • Develop and implement an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team; perform treatments as ordered and monitor patient responses
  • Perform evidence‑based procedures and tasks (e.g., EKGs, blood draws, IV starts) while keeping the work area clean, stocked, and organized
  • Provide patient and family education tailored to clinical status; document assessment findings, interventions, and progress toward problem resolution
  • Initiate emergency resuscitation measures as needed; maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety and infection control standards
Requirements
  • Current California RN license in good standing
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • ACLS, PALS, and CPR certification; NRP and TNCC required within one year of hire date
  • 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced ER and multi‑task effectively in a rural critical access hospital setting
