ScheduleFull-time, 36 hours per week. Shift options:
Days (7:00am – 7:00pm) or Nights (7:00pm – 7:00am).
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising them as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self‑care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
- Associate of Science degree in Nursing (ASN)
- Current State of Florida or Multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum of six (6) months previous Registered Nurse experience, preferably in a PCU setting
- Fluent in English (read, verbal and written)
- Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Ability to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to outcomes
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
- One (1) or more years of Registered Nurse experience in an acute care hospital setting
