Patient Care Assistance

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) provides essential daily care and support to patients, particularly elderly or chronically ill individuals. This role focuses on assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring patient comfort, and supporting nursing staff in delivering high-quality care.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Provide feeding assistance and ensure proper nutrition
• Maintain patient hygiene and comfort
• Observe and report changes in patient health to nursing staff
• Assist with repositioning patients to prevent bedsore
• Maintain clean and safe patient environments
  
  Support nurses and healthcare teams with routine care tasks
• Document care activities accurately

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Active CNA license/registration
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (preferred)
• 1–2 years of experience in SNF or long-term care (preferred)
