Setting: hospital-level care; acute care in a high-volume emergency department.

• Setting: travel temporary assignment in a hospital environment
• Epic electronic medical record experience or willingness to train

• Triage, assess, and stabilize patients presenting to the emergency department
• Monitor vital signs, interpret assessments, and respond to rapidly changing conditions
• Initiate IV access, administer medications, and perform needed procedures per protocol
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient care and perform accurate handoffs in the Epic system
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to regulatory standards
• Prioritize patient flow and provide teaching and support to patients and families as appropriate

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in California
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
• CPR/BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred
• ER nursing experience or strong exposure to acute care environments
• Proficiency with Epic or willingness to learn the Epic EMR system
• Ability to work nights and 12‑hour shifts; available for an 8‑week travel assignment
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
