RN ICU Nurse - Full-Time Nights

Role Overview

The ICU Registered Nurse provides safe, competent nursing care in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting patient-centered care principles. This part-time position involves leading and supporting the healthcare team, coordinating interdisciplinary care plans, and ensuring quality patient outcomes. The nurse conducts comprehensive assessments, develops individualized treatment and discharge plans, and performs purposeful hourly rounds to enhance safety, communication, and patient comfort.

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Current Nevada nursing license
• Valid ACLS & BLS certifications
• Preferably one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in acute care
• Handle with Care certification or willing to obtain within six months

• Assess psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs of patients and families
• Develop and implement detailed care plans
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and develop personalized goals
• Perform hourly rounds to improve safety and patient satisfaction
