RN - Labor and Delivery

Templeton, CA

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 hours per week | Rotating Shifts | Onsite

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established Standards of Nursing Practice
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care within a Labor and Delivery setting
• Promote cooperation and effective communication among the health care team
• Provide nursing care within an LDRP model with no on-call requirement

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (required on hire and every two years thereafter)

• Experience working within an LDRP care model
• Familiarity with CNA-represented nursing environments

• Work in a structured Labor and Delivery environment with no on-call requirements
• Opportunity to practice in a full LDRP model supporting patients through all stages of the birth experience
