Role: Per diem Registered Nurse for PACU, providing direct patient care across all age groups in a surgical recovery environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive pre- and post-procedure assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' physiological status, ensuring patient safety and stability.
- Manage pain effectively, educate patients and families, and communicate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and hospital policies, assist with equipment and inventory management, and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Graduate of an accredited RN program and current Nevada nursing license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications;
Handle with Care certification preferred. - Minimum of one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care PACU setting.
- Proficiency in pain management, medication dosing, and patient assessment.
