Registered Nurse – ICU

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Requirements:

• Current RN license in state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor (within 6 months of hire or transfer)
• One-year recent acute care RN experience in an operating room required
• At least two years recent experience in field
• Epic experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care.
• Document patient information clearly, concisely, and legibly.
• Administer medications accurately according to established protocols.
• Recognize signs and symptoms of patient distress and react appropriately.
• Participate in staff education and training.

Compliance / Notes:

• Compliance with infection control guidelines is required.
• Attendance at staff meetings is expected.
