Registered Nurse – ICU
Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed
Hours:
36 hours per week
Requirements:
- Current RN license in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor within 6 months of hire or transfer
- At least one year of recent acute care RN experience in an operating room
- Epic experience preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Coordinate and manage patient care while promoting teamwork among the healthcare team.
- Ensure all patients' personal needs are met and that their privacy is maintained.
- Administer and document medications according to hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide education to patients and assist in discharge planning in a timely manner.
- Recognize signs and symptoms of cardiac or respiratory distress and respond accordingly in emergencies.
