Short Term Acute Care Hospital travel assignment
- Provide unit-based leadership in coordination with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff
- Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary personnel across assigned shifts
- Initiate and coordinate conferences with health team members, patients, and families to develop and revise individualized care plans
- Monitor performance of patient care activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
- Participate in direct patient care as needed and conduct rounds to assess care needs
- Promote patient- and family-centered care with attention to cultural diversity and individual needs
- Solicit feedback on quality of nursing services and address concerns; support process improvements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required;
Master's Degree preferred - At least two years of recent RN experience; five years' technical experience preferred
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required
- BLS certification required; ACLS or ARC-ALS required; PALS or ARC-PALS required
- Department-specific BLS certification preferred
- Ability to work in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting and to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Eligible to practice per state requirements and able to work the listed shift pattern
