• Provide unit-based leadership in coordination with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff
• Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary personnel across assigned shifts
• Initiate and coordinate conferences with health team members, patients, and families to develop and revise individualized care plans
• Monitor performance of patient care activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
• Participate in direct patient care as needed and conduct rounds to assess care needs
• Promote patient- and family-centered care with attention to cultural diversity and individual needs
• Solicit feedback on quality of nursing services and address concerns; support process improvements

• Active Registered Nurse license in California
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required;
  Master's Degree preferred
• At least two years of recent RN experience; five years' technical experience preferred
• Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required
• BLS certification required; ACLS or ARC-ALS required; PALS or ARC-PALS required
• Department-specific BLS certification preferred
• Ability to work in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting and to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Eligible to practice per state requirements and able to work the listed shift pattern
