Registered Nurse – ICU

ICU Nurse Opportunity

Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient status continuously and document findings accurately.
• Implement and evaluate personalized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital policies and the six rights of medication administration.
• Recognize and respond promptly to signs of cardiac or respiratory distress, including emergency situations such as Code Blue.
• Educate patients and their families regarding their health status and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to promote high-quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent ICU nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
