Registered Nurse – ICU

Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Provide high-quality intensive care nursing services to critically ill patients in the ICU. Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions through detailed history, physical exams, and diagnostic data analysis.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to ICU patients.
• Administer and document medications accurately, following hospital policies and "six rights" of medication administration.
• Recognize and respond promptly to signs of cardiac, respiratory, or other emergency conditions.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
• Provide education and discharge planning information to patients and families.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of one year recent acute care RN experience, specifically in the operating room or ICU setting.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor; ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and adhere to infection control protocols.
