Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential personal care and support to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility. They assist with daily activities and ensure resident comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
• Take and record vital signs accurately.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ skin integrity and overall condition.
• Transfer and reposition residents to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness in the resident care area, including changing sheets and restocking supplies.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and assist with mobility needs.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current California Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Communicate clearly in English to understand and execute care plans.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to relate well with residents, families, and staff.
