You will lead the unit's nursing operations during your assigned shift, overseeing care delivery and coordinating the efforts of the nursing team. You will be responsible for acuity-based patient assignments, matching care needs with staff expertise to ensure optimal outcomes. Acting as a proactive shift lead, you will manage resource allocation, oversee supply levels, and ensure precise documentation to guarantee a seamless transition between shifts.

+ Supervises nursing staff assigned to a particular shift. Assigns patients to available nursing staff, taking into consideration the patient's condition and the employee's skill level.

+ Assesses, monitors, and educates the nursing staff on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.

+ Anticipates staffing needs and moves proactively to respond to them.

+ Oversees stocking of supplies and updating patient records to ensure that the nursing floor is ready for subsequent shifts.

** Job Requirements*
* Required

+ Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a registered nurse

+ Current and Active Registered Nurse: CA,

+ AHA Basic Life Support /Advanced Cardiac Life Support,

+ AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program

+ Fire Safety, within 90 Days
