  • AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS required
  • AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS required

Must-Have: Current Epic experience

Description:

The organization comprises a 151-bed hospital, an emergency department, and medical offices with centers of excellence in specialty care.

The job involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.

The nurse supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.

The role includes coordinating care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Essential functions include collecting relevant data pertinent to the patients' health or situation.

The nurse analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.

Developing a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes is also required.

Implementation of the plan, coordination of care delivery, and promotion of health in a safe environment are key responsibilities.

Evaluating progress towards attaining outcomes is a critical aspect of the role.

Collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in delivering patient care in a safe and caring environment is essential.

Providing learning opportunities for patients and team members is encouraged.

The nurse directly provides health information to patients, families, and the treatment team.

Participation in discharge planning is necessary for continuity of care.

Proper delegation and coordination of duties among healthcare team members are important.

The nurse may perform other job-related duties as assigned.
