RN - Behavioral Health – Travel Assignment (10H Days)
Location:
Sylmar, CA
Shift: 10-Hour Days
Assignment Duration: 16 Weeks
Weekly Pay: $1,599.06 – $1,881.25 per week
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, mental health assessments, and risk evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for patients experiencing acute or chronic behavioral health conditions.
- Administer, monitor, and manage psychotropic medications and observe for therapeutic effects or side effects.
- Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization for patients in acute distress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams—including psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists—to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor, record, and report changes in patient behavior, vital signs, and overall clinical progress.
- Facilitate psycho educational groups and provide support to patients and their families regarding treatment and coping strategies.
