Location: Helena, CA
Assignment Type: (Temporary Contract)
Shift: Day Shift | 4x10s (Mon‑Fri, rotating day off)
Start times vary between 5:30 AM – 11:00 AM based on case volume
Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced RN – Outpatient Surgery
, who will deliver coordinated, patient‑centered care across pre‑op and PACU Phase II workflows in a dynamic surgical setting.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a rapid patient turnover environment
.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Deliver safe, efficient pre‑op and post‑anesthesia (Phase II) care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care
- Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff appropriately
- Licensure & Certifications
- BLS (AHA or ARC) (Required)
- ACLS (Required)
- PALS (Required)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Outpatient surgery, endoscopy, or perioperative experience strongly preferred
- Experience with:
- Moderate sedation
- Pre‑op care for open heart & total joint patients (highly valued)
