Position Type: Full-Time | Registered Nurse – Mother Baby / Labor & Delivery

Overview Full-time opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide Mother Baby (Labor & Delivery) inpatient care within a structured clinical environment serving a diverse patient population. Civilian position – no military service required.

Practice Highlights

• Mother Baby / Labor & Delivery Unit
• Full-time schedule, rotating 12-hour & 8-hour shifts
• Weekend & federal holiday coverage included
• Average 80 hours per two-week schedule
• W2 position with full benefits (including PTO/Sick Leave)

Schedule Options (Based on Unit Needs)

12-Hour Shifts:

• 0640–1915
• 1845–0715

8-Hour Shifts (As Needed):

• 0645–1515
• 1045–1915
• 1915–0315
• 2245–0715

Candidate Requirements

• BSN or ADN from an accredited nursing program
• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Mother Baby / Labor & Delivery
• Current BLS + NRP and/or PALS/ACLS (as applicable) — American Heart Association or American Red Cross only
• U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care during labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care
• Monitor maternal and infant status and respond to changes
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and documentation
• Administer medications & perform clinical interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
• Maintain compliance with unit standards, safety, and clinical protocols
