LPN - Behavioral Health

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

All shifts available.

The LVN works in conjunction with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families, and other facility departments to provide optimum individualized nursing care for the residents. This position requires adherence to the dress code of Caribbean Blue scrubs.

• Conduct individualized patient assessments and develop personalized care plans.
• Perform treatments and administer medications accurately and in a timely manner.
• Document patient assessments, responses to interventions, and progress towards problem resolution.
• Initiate emergency resuscitation measures in accordance with protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and provide care in a non-judgmental manner.
• Assist in the orientation and education of new personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control procedures.
• Support other nursing staff as needed, providing direct patient care and responding promptly to call lights.

• Current California LVN license.
• Current BLS level CPR certification.
• Good physical health and stamina.
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to function under pressure.
• Dependable and reliable with a history of good attendance.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
