Per Diem Licensed Certified Registered Nurse School - Littlerock, CA

A licensed and certified Registered Nurse with a School Nurse credential or a Master’s degree in School Nursing is needed for a per diem opportunity. This position focuses on conducting skills assessments for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), specifically ensuring competency in trach care, g-tube management, and ventilator support.

• Current RN license in good standing
• Certified School Nurse credential or master’s degree in school nursing is required
• Prior experience in pediatric, school, or community health settings is highly valued
• Comprehensive clinical knowledge of trach, g-tube, and ventilator care
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to provide training and constructive feedback to support LVN development

• Conduct skills assessments for LVNs in critical medical procedures (trach care, g-tube, vent)
• Provide clear and supportive guidance during hands-on evaluations
• Review LVN competencies, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate and organized assessment documentation
• Collaborate with school leadership and health staff
• Promote health, safety, and compliance within the school environment
