RN II – Labor & Delivery (CNA Represented)

Templeton, CA | Acute Care

Contract | 36 hours per week | Rotating Shifts (Day and Night) | Onsite

• Plan and provide nursing care to patients and families across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods within an LDRP model
• Respond to and manage emergency obstetric situations as they arise
• Circulate for Cesarean Section procedures
• Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel in accordance with their scope of practice
• Initially work Day Shift (0700–1930) during an internal transition period, then transition to Night Shift (1900–0730); flexibility to work both shifts during this period is required

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Minimum of two years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
