Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides skilled nursing care to Residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LVN supports the nursing team by delivering personalized patient care and may take on a charge nurse role as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care following established nursing procedures.
• Implement the nursing care plan and monitor Resident progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Document Resident condition and care activities accurately.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities during shifts when required.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and privacy regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current LVN license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings.
• Strong clinical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
