We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team at our Mission Prep detox facilities. As an LVN, you’ll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to support the medical and emotional needs of our adolescent clients. You will be responsible for a range of essential nursing duties and will play a vital role in fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse who is passionate about mental health and adolescent care.

Key Responsibilities

Work on site while remotely supporting other regions such as Rancho Palos Verdes, CA and Virginia.

Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes or concerns to medical staff

Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate medication logs

Record and monitor vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and respiration

Support clients with basic healthcare needs and assist with medical assessments

Sterilize equipment and maintain proper infection control practices

Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary care discussions

Maintain complete and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

Conduct medical chart audits to ensure accuracy and compliance

Schedule and track medical appointments, referrals, and follow-ups

Requisition and manage medical supplies and inventory

Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, including medication management and infection prevention

Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all patient interactions

Qualifications and Skills

Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California. Willingness to obtain Virginia licensure preferred.

Possess valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 21 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.

Knowledge of medical and clinical terminology, especially related to behavioral health and detox environments.

Strong critical thinking, communication, and multi-tasking abilities.

Proficiency in documentation and EHR systems.

Familiarity with Joint Commission standards is a plus.

Must pass background checks including DOJ/FBI Live Scan and clearance through the California Department of Social Services.
