Unit Information
Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, Day shift (0730 to 1630) with a one-hour lunch break. Saturday is focused on in-patient care. The workload on Saturdays typically entails about 2.5 hours of work, with the overall responsibility being 90% outpatient care and 10% inpatient care.
Cancellation Policy
The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to four shifts during a 13-week assignment and three shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks. In some cases, full hours for a particular shift may be compensated instead of cancellation.
Charting System
The electronic health record system utilized is Cerner.
Licensure and Certification Requirements
- Must hold a valid RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Care Setting
This position is located within a post-acute care setting with a trauma level designated as Critical Access Hospital (CAH).
Shift Notes
This role requires day shifts, with weekend shifts included (EOW). The nurse is also expected to be the first to float as needed.
Qualifications
While a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, it is not required for this position.
