Fowler Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our leadership team.
Schedule:- Saturday and Sunday
- PM 2:45PM - 11:15PM
- NOC 10:45 - 7:15AM
- Part Time
The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during the night shift, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, maintaining regulatory compliance, supervising nursing staff, and serving as the clinical leader for the facility during assigned hours.
Essential Responsibilities- Supervise and support licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants during the night shift.
- Ensure quality resident care is provided in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state and federal regulations.
- Respond to changes in resident conditions and provide clinical guidance as needed.
- Complete clinical assessments, investigations, and documentation as required.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and emergency situations.
- Monitor compliance with infection prevention, medication administration, and documentation standards.
- Coach, mentor, and educate nursing staff to promote quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain survey readiness.
- Current, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or acute care hospital required.
- Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
