Veterinary Technician ER

Location: Woodland Hills

VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley is growing! We are adding experienced and knowledgeable ER RVTs to our team as gear up to extend our hours back to 24/7 after updating and remodeling our beautiful fully equipped facility!

Compensation : $ 30 - $ 45 / hr

* DOE, education and credentials.

* Shift diff one to four dollars/hr depending on shift from 7pm - 7am

Schedule :
Day - 6am - 3:30pm / Swing - 2pm - 12:30am

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Venipuncture

* Catheter placement

* Radiology

* Anesthesia monitoring

* Physical examinations and patient assessment

* Surgical preparation and assisting

* Dentistry

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must have documented previous experience

* Hold a current RVT license

* Must have surgery experience

* Flexibility in hours including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays

* Customer service skills

* Working knowledge of computers

* Excellent communications skills

* Capable of being cross-trained as receptionist and kennel assistant

* Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
