The Tolowa Dee‑ni' Nation is seeking a Senior Firefighter (SFF) to serve as the lead firefighter in wildland fire suppression operations. The SFF will provide training, perform mechanical inspections, and implement cultural fire effects on Tribal lands.
A commitment to protecting Tribal lands is essential, and the position involves seasonal work dependent on funding. Ideal candidates will hold certification as a Firefighter Type 1, have wildland fire experience, and comply with the drug-free workplace policy.
