Job Summary

Indorama at Fontana, California, is looking to immediately hire a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The position offers a 4‑day, 10‑hour work schedule, with the 4th shift covering Thursday through Sunday from 6:00 pm to 4:30 am. Pay ranges from $24.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and shift. The role reports to April Obial, Quality Assurance Manager.

Job Description

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking quality technician with a keen eye for detail. The technician will perform standardized quality control checks on company products to ensure compliance with legal and company safety and quality standards. Duties also include maintaining calibrated test equipment, preparing test data, and identifying areas for quality control improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain company inspection reports.
  • Inspect goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure goods and products comply with company standards and Federal and State law.
  • Ensure test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
  • Report quality anomalies to the supervisor.
  • Collate test data and draft quality reports.
  • Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
  • Ensure production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience as an inspection or quality technician.
  • Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.
  • High level of visual awareness.
  • Advanced organizational skills.
  • Experience drafting reports and collating data.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
