Agricultural Field Technician

7:00 AM to 4:00 PM;
Lunch: 1 hour
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor degree in an agriculturally related field (Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Entomology, or Weed Science).
- Experience with experimental designs and/or small plot research desired.
- Experience operating agricultural equipment.
- High school diploma acceptable if no degree available.
- Assist in research and development activities at a research site and off site, focused primarily on small plot field research in California's Central Valley processing tomato systems.
- Data collection: field sampling of fruit and delivery to the laboratory.
- Trial planting and maintenance.
- Report to the local Product Development Specialist.
- Company vehicle provided to travel from trial locations to the Acampo facility; must have valid driver's license and clean record.
- Will need to work in high heat pulling tomato fruit samples in the field during the summer.
