3 Key Consulting is hiring an Associate Scientist for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.

Job Description:

Master's degree or Bachelors' degree within Biological Sciences & 2 YOE in field.

Ideal Candidate:
Bench role. Must have lab experience, work independently, motivated, team player, good communication skills, not strictly research background but must have lab experience. Ability to use Excel, data analysis and automation experience.

The Platform Engineering group within Therapeutic Discovery is seeking a highly motivated Associate Scientist to join our team at company's state-of-the-art research campus. The qualified candidate will join a multidisciplinary team with capabilities in display technologies, protein engineering, computational protein design, and the production and optimization of complex large molecules.

Top Must-Have Skill Sets:
  • Experience in molecular biology (ie PCR, cloning)
  • Experience with cell culture (bacterial, yeast, or mammalian)
  • Strong organization and communication skills
Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Executing molecular biology strategies to construct libraries of protein variants for binder selection by display technologies
  • Optimizing selection and binding screens toward identifying molecule candidates of interest
  • Analyzing data independently and carefully documenting experimental plans and procedures
  • Working independently and effectively in teams
