Postdoctoral Fellowship – Human Cardiovascular Autonomic Physiology
A Postdoctoral Fellowship position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Satish R Raj in the Libin Cardiovascular Institute, located in the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. The lab focuses on human cardiovascular autonomic physiology and pharmacology and conducts studies exploring physiology and novel treatments in patients with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), vasovagal syncope, initial orthostatic hypotension, and orthostatic hypotension.
The successful applicant will join a dynamic, well‑equipped laboratory and receive highly personalized mentorship and training while pursuing novel areas of study.
Opportunities are available immediately for a postdoctoral scientist with skills in human autonomic cardiovascular physiology, or with a background in clinical research and a desire to learn these techniques.
Projects related to POTS, vasovagal syncope, and orthostatic hypotension are available:
- Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)
- Vasovagal Syncope
- Initial Orthostatic Hypotension and Orthostatic Hypotension
Funding for this position is available for 2 years, with the possibility of extension. Salary will be based on experience.
