Bar and Concessions Supervisor

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the 2026 Del Mar Fairgrounds and Thoroughbred Racing Seasons. Responsible for – Daily operations and supervision of employees that prepare and serve food and drinks to customers such as Restaurants, Bars, Concessions, Beer Carts and Banquet halls/Concerts. Food and Beverage supervisors oversee all of the issues pertaining to a patron’s dining experience, such as quality control, staff management, inventory, health and safety regulations and customer service.

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• training new staff
• managing employees
• overseeing inventory, including food and beverages, supplies and restaurant equipment
• resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and service
• making sure the food & beverage areas complies with health and food safety regulations

Familiar with OSHA, Health Dept., working knowledge of ABC laws, and Serv-Safe, L.E.A.D and/or T.I.P.S., Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) & POS System proficiency is very helpful.

High School or GED/Hospitality Experience or previous Supervisory position

• Communication, organizational skills a must
• Energetic and able to stand and walk for 8 hours

General Microsoft Word/Excel

This position’s pay rate will range from $22.00 to $26.00.
