Recruit, coach and train talent to ensure the team educates and informs customers
Deliver a knowledgeable, genuine and exceptional customer experience
Keep the store inviting, spotless and well merchandised
Provide staff training and development as the resident product expert
Create a welcoming environment and engage positively with local communities
Use problem-solving and collaboration to achieve operational goals
Develop and implement processes and procedures
Oversee inventory
Provide feedback on product trends and customer needs
Maintain corporate visual merchandising standards
Assist with audits and SLGA requirements

Requirements

Must already have, or be able to quickly obtain, Smart Choices Cannabis certification
Must provide a copy of clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date
At least 1–2 years’ retail supervisory experience
Valid First Aid certification considered an asset
Experience working with similar brands/products not necessary, but an asset
Ability to work nights, holidays, weekends and different locations
Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback
Strong organization and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Flexible schedule covering weekdays, weekends and evenings
Passion for customer service excellence
MS Office suite
POS expertise
Post-secondary education in a related field
Demonstrated abilities in visual planning and merchandising
