Part‑Time Direct Sales Associate
Venge Vineyards is seeking an energetic, self‑motivated hospitality professional to join our Direct Sales team. The ideal candidate is passionate about wine, committed to exceptional customer service, and thrives in a luxury hospitality environment. This role requires a positive attitude, strong sales skills, and the ability to create memorable guest experiences while building lasting relationships with customers.
Position SummaryAs a Direct Sales Associate, you will deliver exceptional tasting experiences for guests visiting the Ranch House, including wine collectors, club members, and first‑time visitors. You will serve as a brand ambassador for Venge Vineyards, sharing our story, wines, and winemaking philosophy in an engaging and approachable manner. Success in this role requires a passion for food and wine, strong hospitality instincts, and familiarity with Napa Valley wineries, restaurants, and hotels.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests and provide outstanding hospitality throughout their visit
- Conduct engaging wine tastings that showcase Venge wines and drive direct‑to‑consumer sales
- Share the Venge story, brand values, and winemaking philosophy in a compelling and authentic way
- Build customer relationships that encourage repeat visits, wine club memberships, and long‑term loyalty
- Support daily winery operations with a team‑first attitude
- Open and close the Ranch House, including daily setup and end‑of‑day procedures
- Prepare tasting areas, polish glassware, and ensure all guest spaces are presentation‑ready
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Provide exceptional customer service to support sales and retention goals
- Manage administrative tasks including answering phones, scheduling tastings, updating customer accounts, and responding to guest inquiries
- Process carry‑out and shipping orders, monitor shipments, and follow up with customers as needed
- Minimum 3 years of hospitality experience; winery and luxury brand experience strongly preferred
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Experience with CRM platforms;
Commerce7 and TOCK experience preferred - Strong wine knowledge and passion for hospitality
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Positive, professional, and guest‑focused demeanor
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Part‑time position
- Friday through Monday, 8:45 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.
- Weekend availability required
- Occasional evenings, holidays, and special events
- Competitive hourly wage
