Experienced Construction Estimator Needed

This position will be based in Canoga Park, CA.
Responsibilities:- Enter new customers and customer projects into Quick Books.
- Create customer jobs into Quick Books.
- Create new estimates in Quick Books.
- Estimate weekly, monthly and yearly reports maintenance.
- Gather weekly information from estimating team.
- Put all information together in weekly reports.
- Enter Estimate numbers and total.
- Update notes section.
- Update Sales Reps with status of all pending estimates.
- Vendor quote request follow up.
- Maintain a calendar with follow up dates for all vendor quotes.
- Email and Phone call follow up a day before quote is due back to Promotion Plus.
- Vendor cost research.
- Assist in research for new products and/or vendors.
- Create project spreadsheets for programs.
- Use existing templates to enter information for new projects.
- Update existing project spreadsheets.
- Maintain existing project spreadsheets updated with new information as it becomes available.
- Proven work experience in similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Administrative and computer (MS Excel) skills a must. Excel, Word, and Spreadsheet experience.
- Working knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus.
- Self-Motivator. Strong sense of urgency.
- Personable with excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service.
- Shows consistent professionalism and good judgment.
- Must be able to function as a team and independently.
- Organized and confident.
- Multi-tasking a must.
- Attention to detail a must.
- High ability to retain information.
- Tenacious.
- Customer Service skills a must.
Job Type: Full-time.
Salary: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour.
